- 1 lb plant-based meat (ground meat, deli slices, bacon, sausage crumbles, etc), cooked
- 10 prepared dough shells
- 10 GOOD PLANeT Cheddar Slices (1-8oz package), cut into quarters
- Vegetable oil for frying

Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or Dutch oven to 350 degrees F.
Meanwhile, fill the turnovers: place cheese (we used about 1 whole slice in each turnover) in the center of the dough shell and top with plant-based meat. Fold the dough in half, then seal the edges by pressing down with the prongs of a fork.
Fry the turnovers 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Enjoy hot and melty!
