Baked Wedges in Bread Bowl

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 bread boule
  • 6 GOOD PLANeT Original Cheese Wedges (1-4oz package)
  • ½ cup GOOD PLANeT Mozzarella Shreds
  • ⅔ cup olive oil
  • Herbs and spices of your choice! (We used ½ tsp crushed red pepper, ½ tsp oregano, ½ tsp rosemary, ½ tsp thyme)
  • Your favorite dippers (crackers, carrot sticks, pita chips, etc)

DIRECTIONS

1.

Preheat oven to 350° F.

2.

Slice the top third off the bread boule and reserve for baking.

3.

Using the cheese wedge container as a guide, cut a circle centered in the bread about 1-inch deep. Remove this circle with fingers and reserve for dipping or another recipe.

4.

Mix the herbs and spices of your choice with olive oil and brush bread liberally with this mixture, making sure to get the wall of the inner circle and the exposed edges.

5.

Place wedges in center. Sprinkle mozzarella on top, particularly around the edges.

6.

Return the cut top back onto the bread and bake for 30-40 minutes, until bread is crusty and cheese has melted.

7.

Remove the top off the bread and prepare to wow yourself and your guests. Enjoy with your favorite dippers!
